Can a private investigator take pictures of me in my home?
Yes and no.
If you are inside your home -shades drawn doors closed then no- there is no way anyone should be able to take pictures of you inside your home. And if they do, that is illegal. If you are outside of your home, however (i.e. walking your dog, getting the mail, sitting in your backyard) then yes it may be possible.
They may also look into your social media page(s) which may or may not contain an intrusive look into your home life. So please be weary of what you do when you step outside of your home and what you post online.
Do not violate your restrictions as that action may be photographed and be used against you.
